VIRES, now acquired by HEXAGON, was a full-service provider of products related to virtual environments and scenarios, best known for VIRES Virtual Test Drive (VTD) tool suite. VIRES has been key partner in standardization projects for automotive industry co-founding several defacto standards. In the early years of VIRES, anyvex  undertook the complete development of a wheeled vehicle desktop visual system prototype.
